Mondelēz International has appointed Amit Banati as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he will oversee the company’s global finance organization, supporting financial strategy, capital allocation, operational performance, and long-term growth initiatives across its international portfolio of consumer brands.
Banati is a veteran finance executive with extensive experience in global consumer goods and multinational operations. Prior to this appointment, he served as President and Chief Financial Officer at Kellanova, where he played a key role in guiding the company’s financial strategy and business transformation efforts. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance leadership positions at Kraft Heinz, Cadbury, Procter & Gamble, and Benckiser, building deep expertise across finance, operations, and global consumer markets.
Why this matters: Mondelēz operates in a highly competitive global consumer packaged goods market where disciplined capital allocation, margin management, and international growth are critical. Bringing in a finance leader with experience across some of the world's largest consumer brands signals a continued focus on operational excellence, shareholder value creation, and long-term global expansion.
