Anshul Sharma Appointed CIO at Savvy Wealth

Savvy Wealth has announced the appointment of Anshul Sharma as its new Chief Investment Officer. In his new role, Sharma will be tasked with building Savvy’s first institutional-grade CIO office to directly support the firm’s growing advisor network and investment platform. The appointment comes as Savvy Wealth continues scaling its wealth management offering after surpassing $3 billion in assets under management.

Before joining Savvy Wealth, Sharma spent nearly two decades at Bank of America, where he managed the Chief Investment Office’s Sustainable Model Portfolio Suite, launched new proprietary offerings, and served as Head of Alternative Investment Strategy. Earlier in his career, he began as an Investment Strategist at U.S. Trust, designing multi-asset portfolios for high-net-worth and institutional clients. His background reflects deep experience across portfolio construction, alternatives, and institutional wealth strategy.

Why this matters: This appointment signals that Savvy Wealth is moving to institutionalize its investment capabilities as it scales beyond a fast-growing advisor platform. Bringing in a leader with long-tenured experience at Bank of America and U.S. Trust suggests the firm wants stronger in-house portfolio leadership, deeper advisor support, and greater credibility with more sophisticated clients and teams.
