Aon has appointed Brad Lorimer as Chief Executive Officer of Canada, effective September 1, 2026. In this role, he will lead Aon’s business across Canada, helping clients make better decisions through the firm’s Risk Capital and Human Capital capabilities. Lorimer will join Aon’s North America Executive Committee, remain on its Canadian Executive Committee and report to Anne Corona, Chief Executive Officer of North America.
Lorimer brings more than 25 years of experience across brokerage, underwriting and client service, including nearly two decades at Aon. Most recently, he served as East and Central Region Leader, overseeing the firm’s Human Capital and Risk Capital businesses across Eastern and Central Canada. Previously, he was Health and Financial Institutions Leader for Canada and National Director of Aon’s Financial Services Group. Before joining Aon, Lorimer held leadership roles at Chubb Insurance and Scotiabank.
Why this matters: Lorimer’s appointment brings an experienced internal leader to Aon Canada as the firm strengthens the integration of its Risk Capital and Human Capital capabilities. His background across insurance, financial services and regional business leadership positions him to connect Aon’s global expertise with Canadian market needs while supporting the firm’s broader North American growth strategy.
