Ncontracts has appointed Clay Carter as its new Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, he will lead the company’s security strategy across its SaaS platform and corporate infrastructure, while also supporting Ncontracts’ AI transformation by strengthening security controls and governance around its AI and machine learning capabilities. The appointment reflects the company’s focus on scaling innovation without compromising trust, security, or regulatory discipline for its financial services customers.
Carter brings nearly 20 years of cybersecurity leadership experience to the role. He joins Ncontracts from Nielsen, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, overseeing security operations during a major go-private transaction and multiple portfolio changes. Prior to Nielsen, he held senior product security leadership roles at Xylem Inc. and GE Digital, where he built and scaled security programs tied to critical infrastructure and enterprise technology environments.
Why this matters: For a company serving regulated financial institutions, appointing a security leader with both enterprise-scale and product security depth is a strategic signal. Ncontracts is not just adding a cybersecurity executive, it is reinforcing that AI adoption in financial software now requires governance, resilience, and trust as core competitive differentiators.
