Marriott International has appointed Daniel Dubowski as Global Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, he will oversee the company’s information security program and work across the organization to continue strengthening its security capabilities. His mandate includes advancing cyber resilience and protecting Marriott’s global enterprise as technology becomes increasingly central to its operations, guest experiences and partner ecosystem.
Dubowski joins Marriott International from Hertz, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer. Before Hertz, he spent more than five years at Equifax, including serving as Chief Information Security Officer for U.S. Information Solutions and holding leadership roles across identity, access and cryptographic security. Earlier, he spent more than four years at InterContinental Hotels Group, leading global IT security and security assurance, and held technology and security roles at Creative Solutions In HealthCare, D.R. Horton and Cambridge Homes.
Why this matters: Marriott operates a large global hospitality technology environment where cybersecurity directly affects guest trust, operational resilience and digital growth. Dubowski’s previous experience leading security programs at both Hertz and InterContinental Hotels Group gives Marriott a CISO with direct exposure to travel and hospitality infrastructure, while his work at Equifax adds experience managing security transformation in a highly data-intensive enterprise.
