C5MI has appointed Deven Joshi as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer. In the role, he will help customers solve complex business challenges through AI-powered, data-driven, and mission-critical solutions across cloud, on-premise, and edge environments. He will also guide C5MI’s artificial intelligence strategy with a focus on disciplined adoption, scalable execution, and measurable value for clients.
Joshi brings more than 26 years of leadership experience across enterprise technology, digital transformation, and applied analytics. Most recently, he served as Customer Engineer for Enterprise AI and SAP at Google, and his earlier background includes roles across Amazon Web Services, Novocure, KochaSoft, SAP, and Deloitte. His career has included large-scale SAP transformations, cloud initiatives, and advisory work across the Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and SAP ecosystems.
Why this matters: C5MI operates in a market where AI value depends less on experimentation and more on applying it to operationally complex, mission-critical environments. Bringing in a leader with deep cloud, enterprise AI, and SAP transformation experience suggests the company is positioning AI as a core execution layer in supply chain and industrial modernization, not just an adjacent innovation theme.
