Nile has appointed Frank Wiacek as Chief Revenue Officer. In the role, he will lead the company’s global revenue organization, overseeing sales, partnerships, customer success, and go-to-market execution as Nile scales its secure Network-as-a-Service platform. The appointment comes as the company continues expanding its footprint in enterprise networking and security.
Wiacek brings more than 25 years of experience building revenue organizations across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and services-led business models. Most recently, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of 2NDGEAR and Red8, where he led end-to-end go-to-market functions spanning sales, engineering, operations, and lifecycle services, transforming Red8 into a services-led business and launching the Harmony infrastructure-as-a-service offering. Earlier in his career, he spent significant time at EMC Corporation, where he helped build major strategic partnerships, including the EMC and Dell alliance.
Why this matters: For Nile, this is a signal that revenue leadership is becoming central to its next phase of scale, not just product innovation. Bringing in an operator with deep experience in enterprise infrastructure, channel strategy, and services-led growth suggests the company is positioning to accelerate adoption of secure NaaS through a more mature and globally coordinated go-to-market engine.
