Qnity has appointed Ken Rizvi as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1, 2026. He will lead the company’s financial organization as Qnity advances its growth and value-creation strategy across the semiconductor value chain. His mandate will include supporting disciplined capital allocation, operational excellence and long-term value creation for customers, investors and employees.
Rizvi joins Qnity from Synaptics, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for global finance, corporate development, investor relations and IT. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Penguin Solutions, formerly SMART Global Holdings, UTAC Holdings and Isola Group, and held senior finance positions at Micron Technology and ON Semiconductor. Earlier in his career, he worked at Technology Crossover Ventures and Morgan Stanley, giving him more than 25 years of experience spanning semiconductor design, manufacturing, memory, packaging and supply-chain businesses.
Why this matters: Rizvi’s appointment adds a semiconductor-focused public company CFO as Qnity pursues growth in markets driven by AI, high-performance computing and advanced connectivity. His experience across multiple parts of the semiconductor ecosystem could strengthen Qnity’s financial discipline and capital allocation as demand for advanced materials and integration technologies continues to expand.
