MANTECH has elevated Dr. Kristen Summers to Chief Data and AI Officer. In her expanded role, Summers will set the strategic direction for the company’s data and AI initiatives while continuing to lead its Data and AI Practice. She will oversee the development of advanced, trustworthy AI capabilities for government and commercial clients as part of MANTECH’s Technology and Capabilities Organization.
Summers previously served as Vice President and Technical Fellow for MANTECH’s Data and AI Practice. Before joining MANTECH, she was an Operating Unit Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft Federal and spent more than seven years at IBM, where her roles included Distinguished Engineer and AI Chief Technology Officer for Expert Labs. Earlier in her career, she spent more than 15 years at CACI as a technical director and began her career as a research engineer at Thomson.

Summers’ background spanning Microsoft Federal, IBM and government technology positions her to connect advanced AI capabilities with the security, governance and mission requirements of federal and commercial customers.
