The Trade Desk has appointed Kristi Argyilan as Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President. In this role, she will lead the company’s data partnerships team, including identity, measurement, retail media, governance, and related commercial initiatives. She will report to founder and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Green and be based in San Francisco.
Argyilan joins The Trade Desk from Uber, where she served as Global Head of Advertising and led the company’s global advertising business. She previously held senior leadership roles at Albertsons Media Collective, Roundel, and IPG Mediabrands, where she helped shape the growth of retail media and commerce marketing. She also serves on the board of LiveRamp.
Why this matters: The Trade Desk’s appointment of Argyilan signals a sharper focus on retail media, commerce data, and measurement as advertisers look for stronger alternatives across the open internet. Her background across Uber, Albertsons Media Collective, Roundel, and IPG Mediabrands gives the company a commercial leader with direct experience connecting retail data, media networks, and brand growth strategies.
