Envu has appointed Lars Oestergaard as Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1, 2026. In the role, he will oversee the company’s global finance, legal and compliance functions while providing strategic leadership across financial operations, planning and risk management. His mandate will focus on supporting value creation and sustainable growth as Envu continues to scale as an independent environmental science company.
Oestergaard joins Envu from Syngenta, where he held senior finance leadership roles across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas. Most recently, he led finance for Syngenta’s Crop Protection North America business. He brings more than 20 years of experience across finance, accounting, capital markets and business leadership in multinational organizations.
Why this matters: Oestergaard joins Envu at a stage where financial discipline and capital allocation will be increasingly important as the company expands its global environmental science business. His experience across multiple regions at Syngenta gives Envu a finance leader familiar with complex agricultural and science-driven markets, which could support the company as it balances growth investment with operational discipline.
