eClinical Solutions has appointed Lauren Whitsell as Chief Operating Officer. In the role, she will lead all post-sale functions across the business, including professional services, implementation, support, training, and customer success, as the company continues expanding its digital clinical platform and AI-enabled capabilities. The appointment was announced on March 12, 2026, following the company’s recent growth investment from GI Partners.
Whitsell joins eClinical Solutions from STARLIMS, where she served as Chief Product and Operations Officer and led product development, implementation, and support for customers globally. Prior to STARLIMS, she held operations leadership roles at Appriss Health and Appriss Insights before those businesses were acquired by Equifax Workforce Solutions. Her background spans more than two decades across technology and healthcare, with a focus on operational execution, product delivery, and customer-facing service organizations.
Why this matters: For clinical technology companies, post-sale execution is increasingly central to retention, platform adoption, and long-term account growth. Bringing in an operator with experience across product, implementation, and customer support suggests eClinical Solutions is strengthening the delivery backbone needed to scale its AI-driven clinical data platform in a market where software value depends heavily on operational outcomes.
