Sprouts Farmers Market has appointed Mandy Rassi as Chief Customer Officer in a newly created role. She will oversee marketing, external communications, personalization and loyalty, eCommerce, and consumer insights as the company works to deepen its understanding of and engagement with its health-focused customer base across channels. Rassi reports to President and Chief Operating Officer Nick Konat.
Rassi brings more than 20 years of experience in CPG and retail marketing. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at The Michaels Companies. Before that, she held a range of marketing and analytics leadership roles at 84.51° and The Kroger Co., where she most recently served as Vice President and Head of Marketing, and earlier worked at Procter & Gamble, culminating in a senior director role in brand insights and analytics for the North America Club and Home Specialty business.
Why this matters: Creating a Chief Customer Officer role signals that Sprouts is putting customer intelligence, loyalty, and omnichannel growth at the center of its next operating phase. Bringing in a leader with experience across brand marketing, analytics, and retail personalization suggests the company is aiming to sharpen how it attracts, understands, and grows its core customer segments in an increasingly competitive grocery environment.
