Vanguard has appointed Mani Iyer as Chief AI and Technology Officer. In this role, he will help lead the firm's technology strategy, overseeing initiatives across engineering, artificial intelligence, and enterprise-wide data capabilities as Vanguard continues to accelerate its AI-driven transformation.
Iyer joins Vanguard from PayPal, where he served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Infrastructure, Data and AI Technology and Developer Platforms. Prior to PayPal, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Head of Enterprise Data at Wells Fargo. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 15 years at JPMorgan Chase & Co., holding several senior technology leadership positions, including Managing Director and Head of Risk and Finance Technology.
