Tacton has appointed Merlin Knott as Chief Commercial Officer. He will lead the company’s global commercial organization across marketing, sales, and pre-sales, aligning its go-to-market teams around customer acquisition, expansion, and partner growth. Knott joins Tacton after holding senior leadership roles at IFS, where he led global partner and channel operations before becoming President of the company’s Enterprise Service Management business. During his tenure, the IFS partner ecosystem grew to account for more than 40% of software license revenue. Earlier in his career, Knott held leadership positions at SAP, Cura Software and MicroStrategy, building extensive experience across enterprise software and commercial growth. Tacton
