Consor has appointed Mindy Shimanek as President and Chief Executive Officer. She will lead the engineering and consulting firm as it expands into new markets, strengthens opportunities for its people and advances the use of technology across the business. Her mandate also includes building on Consor’s growth strategy and supporting continued organic and acquisition-led expansion. LinkedIn
Shimanek brings more than 30 years of experience building and leading engineering and consulting businesses. Most recently, she served as Chief Development Officer at Consor, where she helped define the company’s business mix and market priorities, accelerate organic growth, execute its M&A strategy and streamline corporate functions. Before joining Consor, she spent nearly 20 years as co-founder of Structural Grace, an Arizona-based structural engineering firm that became part of Consor in 2019. LinkedIn
Why this matters: Shimanek’s promotion gives Consor a CEO with direct experience shaping both its acquisition strategy and internal operating model. Her background as a founder whose firm joined Consor could be particularly relevant as the company continues expanding through M&A while integrating new capabilities, markets and technology into a unified infrastructure platform.
