Lyft has appointed Senthil Padmanabhan as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he will lead the company’s engineering organization, shape its technology strategy, and accelerate AI-powered innovation across the platform. He will report to Chief Executive Officer David Risher as Lyft continues investing in the engineering foundations behind its rider, driver, and marketplace experiences.
Padmanabhan joins Lyft from eBay, where he most recently served as Vice President of Engineering and was recognized as a Technical Fellow. During his tenure at eBay, he helped scale the company’s core engineering platform, applications, and infrastructure. His background spans enterprise-scale engineering, platform modernization, and technology leadership for large digital marketplaces.
