SentinelOne has appointed Sonalee Parekh as Chief Financial Officer. In the role, she will oversee the company’s global financial operations, including FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, internal audit, and investor relations. The appointment is effective March 24, 2026, as SentinelOne continues to scale its AI-native cybersecurity platform.
Parekh brings more than 25 years of experience across public technology companies. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer of Asana, where she led the global finance organization and supported the company’s multi-product strategy and profitability efforts. Earlier, she was Chief Financial Officer at RingCentral, where she helped scale the business to more than $2 billion in annual recurring revenue, and previously held senior finance leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including Divisional Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Development and Investor Relations.
Why this matters: SentinelOne is at a stage where financial discipline, profitability, and investor confidence matter as much as product innovation. Bringing in a CFO with experience scaling large software businesses and managing public-market finance functions suggests the company is sharpening its operating model for the next phase of growth in a competitive cybersecurity market.
