Nile has appointed Srinivas Kavuri as Chief Development Officer. In this role, he will report to Chief Executive Officer Pankaj Patel and lead the company’s global engineering organization. Kavuri will focus on scaling Nile’s technology and engineering capabilities as the company advances its secure and autonomous Network-as-a-Service platform. Nile
Kavuri joins Nile from Zscaler, where he served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and most recently led development of a platform unifying multiple Zscaler cloud services. Before Zscaler, he held engineering leadership roles at Cisco Systems, Veritas Technologies, MobileIron and Commvault Systems, building more than 25 years of experience across networking, security and cloud software. He also holds multiple patents across cloud storage, data management and security. Nile
Why this matters: Nile is positioning secure, autonomous networking as an alternative to complex legacy enterprise network architectures, particularly as AI increases infrastructure and security demands. Bringing in an engineering leader with experience across Zscaler, Cisco, and other enterprise infrastructure companies strengthens Nile’s ability to scale its platform while integrating cloud, security, and networking capabilities under a more unified architecture.
