Aura has appointed Steven Tristan Young as Global Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, he will lead the company’s global marketing strategy, with a focus on customer engagement and accelerating adoption of Aura’s online safety services. He will report to Thomas Clayton, President and Chief Operating Officer, and partner closely with Aura’s product development team as the company advances its AI-powered digital protection offerings.
Young joins Aura from Poshmark, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer and supported the company’s 2021 Nasdaq listing, international expansion, and acquisition by Naver Corp. Prior to Poshmark, he was Vice President of Growth at Grubhub, where he led customer and market-level growth programs during a seven-year tenure. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at DIRECTV, American Express, Endurance International Group, and Puma Sports.
Why this matters: Aura’s appointment of Young signals a sharper focus on brand growth, customer adoption, and category leadership in AI-powered online safety. His background scaling consumer technology and marketplace brands gives Aura a marketing leader with direct experience building trust, expanding reach, and driving adoption in competitive digital markets.
