Vivek Jetley Appointed CEO at Hexaware Technologies

Hexaware Technologies has appointed Vivek Jetley as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 28, 2026. He will succeed Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan and lead the company through its next phase of AI-led growth as artificial intelligence reshapes enterprise technology services and creates new sources of client demand. His mandate will include scaling Hexaware’s AI-led services model globally, strengthening enterprise relationships and developing new growth opportunities.

Jetley joins Hexaware after nearly two decades at EXL, where he most recently served as President and Head of Insurance, Healthcare and Life Sciences. Previously, he was President and Head of EXL Analytics, where he helped build advanced analytics, AI services and enterprise data management capabilities. He joined EXL in 2006 through its acquisition of Inductis, where he had been a Partner. Jetley began his career as a consultant with Mitchell Madison Group and brings more than 25 years of experience across strategy, analytics, AI and enterprise transformation.

Why this matters: Jetley’s appointment marks Hexaware’s first CEO transition in 12 years and comes as the IT services industry is being reshaped by generative AI and changing enterprise technology spending. His experience building EXL’s analytics and AI businesses gives Hexaware a leader with direct experience turning data and AI capabilities into scaled commercial offerings, a priority as the company seeks to accelerate its AI-first services strategy.
