Legit Security has appointed Eitan Worcel as Chief Strategy Officer. In this role, he will lead the company’s strategic growth initiatives, with a focus on expanding its market presence and identifying new business opportunities. He will also help shape the company’s response to evolving customer requirements as Legit Security expands its Agentic AppSec strategy.
Worcel brings nearly two decades of experience in application security across product development, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Before joining Legit Security, he co-founded automated vulnerability remediation company Mobb in 2021. Earlier in his career, he served as a product leader for HCL AppScan and also worked as a developer, giving him experience across multiple areas of application security.
Why this matters: Legit Security is strengthening its strategy leadership as AI-assisted software development changes how application security teams identify and remediate vulnerabilities. Worcel’s experience building automated remediation technology at Mobb gives the company additional expertise as it positions its platform around securing AI-generated code. His appointment also signals a focus on turning technical differentiation in Agentic AppSec into broader market growth.
