NiCE has appointed Rajesh Shriyan as Chief Information Officer. He will lead the company’s global information technology organization, overseeing enterprise applications, data, infrastructure, and IT services. His mandate includes advancing internal AI adoption, modernizing core business processes, and strengthening operational efficiency across the organization.
Shriyan joins NiCE from NetApp, where he spent 15 years in technology leadership roles, most recently serving as Vice President of AI, Data, Enterprise Architecture & Applications. During his tenure, he also served as Chief Architect and led initiatives across enterprise architecture, data analytics, and responsible AI adoption. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade at Cisco Systems as an IT architect.
Why this matters: NiCE is extending its AI focus from customer-facing products into its own enterprise operations. Bringing in a CIO with deep experience across AI, data, architecture, and business applications signals a stronger push to connect internal technology modernization with measurable operational outcomes.
