Emma Chalwin Appointed CMO at Accenture

Accenture has appointed Emma Chalwin as Chief Marketing Officer, effective October 1, 2026. In her new role, Chalwin will oversee the company’s global marketing and communications organizations and report directly to Chair and Chief Executive Officer Julie Sweet. Her mandate will include strengthening Accenture’s market positioning, driving customer demand and supporting growth as the company expands its AI-led business reinvention services.

Chalwin joins Accenture from Workday, where she served as Chief Marketing Officer, leading global brand development and customer demand generation. Before Workday, she spent more than eight years at Salesforce, most recently serving as Executive Vice President of Global Field Marketing. Earlier in her career, she held senior marketing leadership positions at Adobe, McAfee and Macrovision. She brings more than 30 years of experience across global marketing, brand strategy and enterprise technology.

Why this matters: Chalwin’s appointment brings an experienced enterprise technology marketer to Accenture as the company works to translate its AI and business transformation capabilities into stronger market differentiation and client demand. Her experience connecting brand, field marketing and commercial growth at Workday and Salesforce could help Accenture communicate the business value of AI-led reinvention while strengthening relationships with enterprise buyers.
