FuboTV Network Inc. has appointed Alisa Bowen as Chief Executive Officer. In this role, she will oversee FuboTV’s strategy as the company continues expanding its live TV streaming platform and strengthening its position in the evolving streaming market. She succeeds co-founder David Gandler, who led the company since its founding.
Bowen joins FuboTV from Disney, where she most recently served as President of Disney+. She brings nearly three decades of product, digital, and operational experience, including leadership across Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at News Corp Australia, Dow Jones, and Thomson Reuters, with experience spanning digital transformation, subscription businesses, and media operations.
Why this matters: FuboTV’s appointment of Bowen signals a stronger push to compete in live TV streaming with leadership shaped by large-scale subscription platforms. Her experience across Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ is especially relevant as streaming companies focus on subscriber growth, profitability, sports rights, and differentiated live content in a crowded market.
