James O’Reilly Appointed CEO at Latitude Food Group

Latitude Food Group has appointed James O’Reilly as Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he will focus on accelerating disciplined growth while preserving the identity, culture, and guest connection that define the company’s restaurant brands. He will lead Latitude Food Group as the parent company of &pizza and Tijuana Flats.

O’Reilly brings extensive restaurant and foodservice leadership experience to Latitude Food Group. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Ascent Hospitality Management, the parent company of Perkins Restaurant & Bakery and Huddle House. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Smokey Bones and Long John Silver’s, and held leadership roles at Sonic Drive-In, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Yum! Brands, and Procter & Gamble.

Why this matters: Latitude Food Group’s appointment of O’Reilly signals a focus on scaling a multi-brand restaurant platform with stronger operational discipline and franchise growth. His experience leading Ascent Hospitality Management, Smokey Bones, and Long John Silver’s gives the company an operator with direct experience across casual dining, quick service, and franchised restaurant systems.
