Skyworks Solutions, Inc. has announced the appointment of Philip Carter as its new Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he will be responsible for Skyworks’ financial strategy, investor relations, treasury, and leadership of the company’s global finance and information technology organizations. Carter joins Skyworks from Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., where he served as Corporate Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer since November 2024. Before AMD, he spent more than seven years at Skyworks as Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Principal Accounting Officer, leading strategic operational initiatives tied to financial transformation and reporting scalability. Earlier in his career, he also held roles at Broadcom Inc. and EY.
