PepsiCo has announced the appointment of Ram Krishnan as Chief Executive Officer, PepsiCo North America. In this new role, he will lead PepsiCo’s North America operations, with a mandate to accelerate integration across the company’s foods and beverages businesses where it creates value and better serves both consumers and customers. The appointment places Krishnan in charge of one of PepsiCo’s most important operating regions as the company sharpens its growth agenda.
Krishnan is a long-time PepsiCo executive who most recently served as CEO of PepsiCo Beverages U.S. Earlier in his PepsiCo career, he held leadership roles including CEO of International Beverages and Chief Commercial Officer, CEO of the Asia Pacific, Australia/New Zealand and China region, Senior Vice President and General Manager of PepsiCo’s global Walmart Customer Team, and Chief Marketing Officer of Frito-Lay North America. Prior to joining PepsiCo in 2006, he spent six years at Cadillac.
