B&G Foods has appointed Robert D. Mills as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mills, who has served on the company’s Board of Directors since 2018, will focus on execution, operating discipline, accelerating growth and strengthening the company’s capabilities. His mandate includes advancing B&G Foods’ strategic priorities and creating long-term shareholder value.
Mills joins B&G Foods from Tractor Supply Company, where he spent more than 12 years in senior leadership roles spanning strategy, business operations, digital commerce, technology, artificial intelligence and mergers and acquisitions. He most recently served as Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, Digital and Pet Services. Before Tractor Supply Company, Mills served as Chief Information Officer at Ulta Beauty and previously held technology leadership roles at Sears Holdings Corporation.
