Qlik has appointed Saugata Saha as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 31, 2026. He will lead the company’s next phase of product innovation and commercial growth, building on Qlik’s foundation in data integration, data quality, analytics, and artificial intelligence. He succeeds Mike Capone, who stepped down after eight years as Chief Executive Officer.
Saha joins Qlik from S&P Global, where he most recently served as President of S&P Global Market Intelligence and Chief Enterprise Data Officer. He also led the company’s Energy division and served as S&P Global’s first Chief Enterprise Data Officer, focused on accelerating AI adoption, improving productivity, and strengthening data interoperability. Earlier in his career, he held roles at The Godrej Group in India across sales, e-commerce product development, and the Office of the Chairman.
Why this matters: Qlik’s appointment of Saha signals a sharper focus on enterprise AI, data integration, and commercial expansion at a time when companies are looking to turn fragmented data into usable intelligence. His experience scaling data businesses at S&P Global gives Qlik a leader with direct exposure to enterprise data monetization, platform growth, and AI-led transformation.
